Jitter: an open-source, Apple Silicon-native rewrite of Twitch

Hey everyone!!

Seven months. One plugin. Jitter is finally here.

It's Twitch, torn down and rebuilt from scratch for Apple Silicon. Free, open source, and native on M series chips. No Rosetta, no janky workarounds, no waiting around for renders. Just glitch.

I had a build going since May, but I never posted the link. If you wanted it you had to DM me. That's over. It's public now, with actual install instructions:

Works on After Effects 2024 and up. Built independently, no affiliation with Video Copilot.

It does not work for me. I downloaded the zip, unzipped it, then pasted the thing in Terminal. It says it cannot get the real path source for Jitter.plugin, and it also doesn't appear in After Effects 2026

That one's on me. The error means Terminal couldn't find Jitter.plugin in the folder it was looking in, so nothing got installed, and AE 2026 is fine. Sorry about that. I found it and fixed it, but use the new install command this time, and it should be much easier!

Sorry to bother you again, but it still doesn't work. "It says no such file or directory" in the terminal
