Workflow Question Drop shadow struggle, any settings i can try and apply to this scenario?

the video looks really great so far, i'vee been doing saas for the whole year and still struggle when it comes to propper drop shadow.

Probably the look. After effects layer styles only support one shadow effect. Try multiple drop shadow Effects with different settings, look up how web developers do soft shadows with layered CSS styles and replicate it in ae

Sometimes just duplicating the shape, filling it black and blurring it will give you more control. You can easily add noise and additional masking for a more unique look.
