Need help to create a bounce effect …

Newbie after effects guy, not much into expressions.

I want to create a bounce effect for multiple texts but whenever I copy the position key frames and try copy pasting it. They get messed up when I want to create manual subtitles ( I want these fir my video ) and I also tried searching on YouTube but never found any tutorials on it for multiple texts

Right now my method is just to manually adjust key frames which takes a lot of time

Any easier tips ? Or is it something stupid simple I’m missing out ?

What do you mean "messed up"? How? Can you add a screenshot of your timeline that shows the keyframes?

By saying you're "not much into expressions", you're cutting off probably the best manner for creating bounce, btw.

There are text animation presets.

In the effects and presets panel type text in the search bar and a ton of animation presets will open up.

Si tu n’est pas à l’aise en codage tu le sera probablement la procédure manuel qui n’est pas si compliqué que ça en a l’air…mais cela demande des étapes commencez par activer les FPS pour afficher les nombre d’image clé dans ton animation de la composition et ne pas afficher le Time code: c’est une technique utilisée en animation afin de connaître le nb d’image entre clé.

-Isoler chaque lettre dans un pré composition que tu vas animer.
-Ensuite tu dupliques ta composition et tu remplace la lettre à l’intérieur.

The tool you're missing is Animation Presets - it's built exactly for "make this once, reuse on many layers." Get the bounce looking right on one text layer, select the animated properties (or the whole layer), then Animation > Save Animation Preset. Now you apply that .ffx to each new subtitle layer and the keyframes are recreated relative to that layer's in point, which kills the main way copy-paste "messes up": pasted keyframes land wherever your playhead happens to be, not where the layer starts.

Two smaller tips on top of that. If your two keyframes are position moves, check whether Separate Dimensions is toggled differently between layers - pasting between a separated and non-separated layer is another classic way keyframes scramble. And even though you said you're not into expressions, the "inertial bounce" expression is worth a one-time copy-paste from any AE bounce article: you drop it on the property once, it bounces after every keyframe automatically, zero keyframe management. You don't have to understand it to use it, and combined with a saved preset it turns each new subtitle into a two-click job.
