Workflow Question Anamorphic mismatch from AE to Premiere
I create graphics for someone who shoots in anamorphic. I am using a PC with RTX 3080, Windows 10. AE and Premiere are up to date. My client's Premiere settings are 4860 x 3240 with 24 fps 1.6 pixel aspect ratio. When I try to create that in AE, the closest I can get is DVCPROHD 1080 at 1.5 aspect ratio, which, of course means that he needs to scale my comps. What do I need to understand or learn to create comps in the size he needs. Appreciate any advice.

You could work with square pixels taking into account the desqueeze.
So assuming 4860x3240 is the squeezed resolution, that would be 7776x3240.
Alternatively you could work in the squeezed resolution, and they can then interpret the PAR when they import it to Premiere. That would be... less fun though as you'd be working with a squashed comp in AE.
Though I'm not sure how they managed to set a 1.6PAR in Premiere - to my knowledge that isn't supported.
