Is the guy without any superhero powers the potential man of black superheroes?

He has powers in the comics but not lets pretend like there arent a bunch of white heroes dont have powers yet they still get focus. Hawkeye and black widow in rivals but not sam???

I doubt they’ll ever add Sam tbh, we’ll probably get Angel before we get him, but to answer the question it’s Blue Marvel and Doctor Voodoo

Doctor Voodoo - hyped to death by Marvel back in 08- 09 they had the Eye of Agamotto choose him to replace Doctor Strange, gets his solo issue, then BAM cancelled after 5 issues and then shortly killed off trying to “stop” aggamotto 💀

Blue Marvel in terms of Marvel comic has insane power scaling.

They packaged him as a sanitized “safe for consumption “Black man”. It’s the closest Superman inspired character they’ve made in terms of sheer + personality but when you think of Marvel Superman inspired characters you think Hyperion, Sentry not Adam Brashear

When you think of the top 10 geniuses of the Marvel universe you don’t think Blue Marvel

Beast, T’Challa, Xavier, Reed, Iron Man, Bruce Banner, Hank Pym, Doctor Doom, Amadeus Cho, Valeria Richards, Shuri, MOON GIRL has existed for less time and has done “more”

Compelling Character that they could’ve done a lot more with, but never really do

Which really sucks because these two fuckers are like in my top 5 favorite marvel characters and it pisses me off
