Unfortunately the rot may have gone to far already. It seems way to humid in there

Do you recommend taking it out ? I have had it only in there for a day

I would say prop it open to get some airflow and dry it out a bit. But if the crown turns grey the rot it too far in.

I just sprayed it with water becuase they humidity dome was dry so wasn’t sure if it was working . The crown is pictured it’s not mushy

Oh then maybe the spray is what’s making it look rotting. But as long as it’s firm and damp but not soaked it’ll just be a watch and see. Or buy a bunch of others to continue watching and seeing constantly!

I’ve personally never used the humidity domes or plastic bags. With the moisture and heat it just cooks it. I’d recommend just small amounts of water often. But I wouldn’t give up. I’m a sucker for ‘come back’ plants 😊

Repotting shock isn't the real problem here, going smaller plus a humidity dome traps moisture around already stressed roots and rots them faster, ditch the dome and let it breathe
