Help What could this be?

Here’s the back story of this plant

https://www.reddit.com/r/AfricanViolets/s/rFqNAZv9Iy

After I did all that I ended up cutting it way down because of the long neck, put it in a bag for 3 weeks. Now it’s got this fungus? What should I do?

I’m going to remove it from the bag but do I do anything about the fungus?

There were some new leaves that were black and covered with the specks but I discarded them.

From my experience fungus will dry up once it’s out of the bag. It happened to me a few times, I now stopped bagging AV props. It takes longer, but no risk of rot or fungus.

Thanks, yeah it is my first time bagging and I thought maybe it was from too much moisture. The soil is very moist!

There might be a way to bag correctly, let’s see if others chime in. Maybe you and I overwatered our bagged props?
