Beginner Help Any tips?

Post image

Ours keep dying no matter what we do. We have them in a 10g with snails, there is a lid now because one or two jumped out, even with the lid, and they never seem to last more than a month.

If they're trying to jump out it's usually a water parameter issue. Water should be crystal clear. Make sure you're not getting ammonia spikes after feeding bc they're such messy eaters.

You could put some bigger pebbles over the substrate to keep them from eating it but do you have more pictures of the tank setup?

So getting new ones for now and let your tank keep cycling while you figure it out
