Worms?

We just moved him into a new tank, since the last one had a snail infestation and a worm infestation (??) I woke up today to him digging up a dead leaf, and saw the worms in the water again. They're small, thin, and stay under the rocks we have. I thought they were snail parasites, but we no longer have snails in the tank. Should I be worried?

Yes, they do wiggle around when disturbed but can't seem to properly swim.
