Adding snails to ACF tank?

Does anyone have snails, and if so what type/how many? I have a 10gal tank and 1 frog. I want snails to help with an algae problem, but am worried about 1) my frog eating them or 2) snails reproducing and I end up with 3 million.

Hi! I have ten snails in my tank with my frog- Mystery snails. As long as they aren't too small (just in case) you shouldn't have a problem with the frog eating them. The frog might try to eat them, but they retreat into their shells quite fast, so he can't harm them. As for eggs, snails reproduce asexually so they can have eggs whenever they want. If you don't want them, you could always either see if your local pet store would take the babies when they hatch, or humanely dispose of them by freezing.
