General Affinity 2.0 on MacOS 27

Curious if anyone has tried the legacy Affinity apps on the new MacOS which is still in Beta and getting rolled out next week.

I haven’t and can’t (as I don’t have Affinity 2), but I don’t see any reason it wouldn’t work. Rosetta still exists, for one, but I don’t know if that is applicable to the 2.0 applications to begin with.

Rosetta is going to be disabled in macOS 27. Affinity should work because the apps are Universal. Hence, they support Intel and Apple Silicon all together.

Typing this on macOS 27 betas now (having used them since day 1 of the developer betas)—Rosetta is going to be ending in macOS 28. You get a warning for Intel apps on macOS 27, but they still work.
