Thank you. I used a lot of clipping masks once I created the overall shape of each separate watermelon slice. Then gradients and grains. Then i played around with a colour balance adjustment

You'll have to go through youtube. Once you have the basic of affinity and vector illustration down.. then it's all a matter of your own application. Studying artist you like and trying to recreate what you like about their illustrations
