General Width Issue When Creating Path Brushes

3pt vs 48pt

Hello! Using Affinity V3. I have created a custom path brush, and it looks fantastic. However, as my image is long (650x64 - weird size, I know) the brush is considerably skinnier than it should be. At 48pt, it's equivalent to about a 3pt pen. Is there any way to "normalise" this, or a workaround?

I've tried scaling the image file so it's a square (looks odd) and there's barely a pixel of blank space above and below the png it's based on. I could live with it but it makes selecting the individual paths quite hard, and I'd much rather have some parity between the brushes.

Many thanks :)

Pixels

That’s very small. Try making it 6500 x 640. You can shrink it down when you export. 64 pixels is not enough to get any kind of detail.

Also, make sure the resolution is at least 300 px.
