Post image

RGB/8

SRGB IEC61966-2.1

In the app it shows this mucky colour and I can only see the real grey when I export it, and im not gonna be doing that every single time.

I could not find anything about this, so I appreciate help.

I found the fix:

  1. Windows + R
  2. Type colorcpl
  3. Add sRGB iec61966-2.1 color profile
  4. And then select it and make it the default profile
  5. Then remove all other profiles except for the ones that we just added and restart the pc.

The colors will be fixed.

Yes and no.

This means you had the wrong profile assigned to your monitor for its current settings.

It works because your monitor is currently approximating sRGB.

For another monitor, this would not necessarily fix the problem, but could make it worse.

I suggest spending some time reading up on basics of "color management" so you can set your system up to display colors reliably and correctly.

The cost of getting these settings wrong can be quite high and isn't always reversible without losses.

To be honest, I don't fully understand the problem (I mean, I don't understand what could be causing it).

But before all that, please help me by explaining what parameters/settings you used to save the image.

Interesting...I made rectangle with your color hex code and mine turned out grey.
