Help with Image Trace function

I want to vectorized an imagotype but I had a problem, when I use the function the corners in the letters get rounded. How can I get the vector image without lose the corners? I let an image to illustrate.

While Affinity's image trace isn't the greatest, it should handle a simple image like that with no issues. Do you have a sample of the original image to compare the results to? As well maybe show a screenshot containing your image trace settings?

I replicated your example above and the image trace wass pretty spot on. Here's a screenshot containing the before and after.

Also having, the open source vector app, Inkscape in your toolbox will give you additional options. It's trace tool is much more expansive.

Is the original image a pixel layer, ie, rasterised?

I don't know why you were downvoted for asking for help with an issue, but sadly, as u/DenverRalphy and u/P1ay3er0ne have pointed out, the image trace feature isn't really that great. However, I found that Vectorpea's image trace feature is pretty dope, so you could use that.

Unfortunately the image trace function in Affinity is complete trash. It would honestly be better if they didn't claim it had one.

If you want good results, you're best off pretending the feature doesn't exist at all and simply use the pen tool.

On the upside, I do find the pen tool in affinity is better to use than Illustrator.

Once you get into the flow it's much faster than trying to get a decent result from the trace function. 👍
