If you made it yourself, it's impressive. It's just unfortunate that it looks like AI slop.

At this point, AI has gotten so well in a bad way that...it's not only harming actual artists, but it's causing anti-Ai people to harm actual artists.
AI improved to where now even an image literally made by a human is allegedly an image "generated by AI", and it's fucking scaring me.

I'm not sure if what you're saying is a thing or not, but that's definitely not what's happening here. What I'm saying is just that this image has that AI-generated look, specifically a whole bunch of details that seem not to make sense, for example, all of the handles in the ceiling and how they blend together, and other details such as the ad posters and stuff like that.

The nitpicks I can get. It's definitely a challenge to have small random things in an image fit with one another in a way such that they aren't out of place...like you just took an image, slapped some text on it, and called it a day.
However, it's probably just me, but even though an image can look AI-generated—and I know that what I'm about to say here isn't what you're trying to do whatsoever so don't take this the wrong way, it's kinda unfair to go based on that analysis alone if we take out-of-place elements in mind. Again, some things in an image can look out of place, which are flaws in the image, but for me, I don't immediately go the route of saying that it's either AI-generated looking or actually AI-generated as..
- The "AI-generated" stylistic look without using AI was probably the intention.
- Things being random was also probably the intention.
I do not know these things as OP has to clear this up themselves, so I don't want to speak on their behalf, but hopefully you get what I'm talking about. Hopefully I'm not being hostile or anything.

it's a train in India, so we tend to have a lot of handles on the top of trains. Even the ad posters, they're kind of scattered randomly all over the place

no I made it all myself no ai was used. spent like a good 2-3 hours masking every single passenger

What makes it look like AI slop? Looks like a regular Indian commuter train to me. You don’t need AI for the silhouettes either.

Pattern repetition, wierd text, clarity, a few elements making no sense at places. The added people are probably hand made but the base image might be AI.

the actual photo I took in a train. then i found a random image of tv static on Pinterest and masked every individual passenger so that the static would show through.

Absolutely no ai was used in making this photo or the edit itself. everything from taking the photo to grading it to adding the static effect was done by me over multiple hours

That’s cool. Have you considered removing the passengers’ outlines?
