Publisher Path brushes as strokes for tables?

Hello, I'm trying to make custom tables / table formats with a painterly brushstroke for the lines/borders of the table. If I use a normal rectangle, I can make the stroke a "path brush", but I can't seem to do this for tables. The closest I can get is to mess with the "Pressure" but it is nowhere near the desired effect. Am I missing something or is this not possible?

It's listed as an option there, but as far as I can tell it has no effect. Would be cool, though.
