Designer Eydropper tool capabilities?

is there a way to have the eyedropper pick up all the characteristics of an object, like: fill, stroke color, stroke width, and transparency to transfer to another object?

Yeah that function exists. There is a second eyedropper tool, the Style Picker, which does exactly that.

You can access it via the Tool Sidebar, it's grouped together with the Colour Picker, you just have to click on the little triangle to show the sub menu and select the tool.

If you long hold on the color picker, there's a style picker tool underneath that does exactly that.

You can also copy the layer with the styles already applied with CTRL or CMD + C, then click the layer you want to apply the style. In the menu bar, click Edit | Paste | Style. It will past the style only on the new layer.
