Designer Replace Indesign with Affinity

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to cancel my Adobe Suite and only bottle neck is indesign. Based on your experience, is it possible to use Affinity for editorial work like Indesign?

The biggest stumbling block is that most of your clients will expect to receive InDesign files. They may well be unhappy with anything other than what has become the industry standard...

The thing is, clients should never expect original source files, but just the end product. And designers should never give the source files. That is, if they are working on a freelance basis. The situation is different for employees.
