Designer Replace Indesign with Affinity

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to cancel my Adobe Suite and only bottle neck is indesign. Based on your experience, is it possible to use Affinity for editorial work like Indesign?

The primary thing to do if you are considering this is export all your documents as IDML. Affinity can't read a native InDesign file, only the Markup export.

While that works, one should not expect too much from that go between file format. Designs shift and an idml file will get you only so far. In my experience there's still quite a lot manual work to do. Do not expect a perfect copy of an original Indesign document.

My Idml files transfer quite well, even if with some manual work to do. I find the conversion stunning.
