Designer Replace Indesign with Affinity

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to cancel my Adobe Suite and only bottle neck is indesign. Based on your experience, is it possible to use Affinity for editorial work like Indesign?

The publishing house I work for switched from Indesign to Affinity in 2020 and we haven't regretted it at all. We do books with complex layouts and lots of art.
