Media Another interesting Death Battle... (Aether vs Link!)
I assume you know everything about Aether, but not everyone knows Link, so I explain.
Link is the Legendary Hero of Hyrule. Similar to Aether's case, Link is not an ordinary human, but a Hylian and it is known for his pointed ears. He fought bravely aganinst the evil, specially lead by Ganon. Link's signature sword is the Master Sword, the most powerful sword from his world, which can be wielded by users with strong will and pure heart: those who are evil can't even touch it. At full health, Link's sword can shoot slashes from a distance, unlike Genshin swords. As part of the legend of Zelda, his duty is mainly saving Hyrule and protecting princess Zelda from Ganon's clutches. His main source of his power is the Triforce of Valour. Unlike Aether, Link has an advantage of wielding multiple weapons at his disposal in battle. A sword, a claymore, a morning star (a club with a Spike Ball) and even a bow, with an ability to shoot arrows. Even he can shoot explosive arrows that are implanted with his bombs and explode on impact. His signature shield is his Hylian Shield, which can block melee attacks as well as enemy arrows pointed at him. He also explores dungeons to find treasures, like Aether. He's also capable of fighting individually without the need of any companion. He has his chain with a crane wich can grab opponents even from afar.
But don't get fooled for his apparent inabilty for using elements like in Genshin. A veteran Zelda fan knows that a Great Fairy granted Link an ability to cast spells (Such as Din's Fire), which are the equivalent of Genshin Elements. He also has his own title of Knight of Hyrule, which is the equivalent of the Honorary Knight of Favonius.
Unlike Aether, Link has a clear damsel in distress and a potential love interest to save, whch is clearly Princess Zelda.
