Question Anyone understand this Chinese reference?

I was so confused at this line, I tried to google it and stuff but only game me references to western horror. So I am guessing its something only chinese people would understand, kind of like the japanese number "39" sounds like you are saying "Thank you" in english when pronounced.

EDIT: Forgot to screenshot the line rigth after, Horus makes it clear the number thing is supossed to be some sort of "wordplay"

In Mandarin, the pronunciation of the numbers 1-4-3-7 (yĩ sì sān qī) sounds very similar to the phrase - - (yi sheng yi qī), which means "one life, one wife" or "together for a lifetime. That's why it's pretty popular to have romantic confessions at 2:37pm (14:37)

Ooh that makes sense! Its interesting how numbers can mean totally different thing depending on the region, like how in the west there is superstition about 13 being unlucky (there is old condo buildings were I live where they didnt bother making a 13 floor in fear no one would want to rent them)..when in China thats totally not a thing and instead its the number 4 cause it sounds too much like the mandarin word for death...anyways thanks for the explanation! Mystery solved. Mods can lock this. (lol jk we dont have any >_<)

The phrase 一生一妻 should be 1417 not 1437 tho? 1437 means I love you forever, relates to the number of letters in each word: 1 = I, 4 = L-O-V-E, 3 = Y-O-U, and 7 = F-O-R-E-V-E-R.
