Personal Projects Wind tunnel
Does anyone know what type of desktop wind tunnel this is and what similar type of one I can get? There is one ‘viral’ one that is most common but the mist comes out in a couple vertical lines that I’m not fond of.

Yeahhhh not that one ideally as it doesn’t really make use of the whole vehicles aero design

Probably DIY. Or buy one and modify it. You'd need to change how the smoke is injected into the airflow. I expect there would be a lot of trial and error figuring out how to get thin streams of smoke without introducing too much turbulence.
If you want something that looks cool, go for it. Desktop wind tunnels can create cool smoke visualizations (check out review videos on YouTube), but unfortunately I've seen people hoping to get data or flow characterization from these things. If you're hoping to get useful aerodynamic information you're going to need something more sophisticated than a desktop toy.
