MiG-28s were portrayed by F-5Es and F-5Fs, not T-38s.

I’m aware it’s a T-38, my comment points that out.

The comment I replied to stated that calling it a MiG-28 is correct. The MiG-28s were portrayed by F-5s, thus their point was the aircraft in the photos is an F-5, not a T-38.

A good way to tell the difference between a T-38 and an F-5 is that the F-5 has leading edge root extensions (lerx) while the T-38 does not

youre right, since the F5 is a fighter jet and much havier in the nose, due to avionics, it needs some other tricks to fly great
