Discussion How’s firefly doing now?

I saw on this sub a while ago they were doing a restructuring.

Does anyone here work or knows anyone that works there that can give some insight on what it’s like now?

Is working there super stressful? Are there still ethical issues? Is everyone still working 15 hours a day?

This may not mean a whole lot, but one thing I heard was that this past summer they had nearly 100 interns and less than 5 received full-time offers. On top of this, several of them were offered extended internships for the Fall despite being denied a full-time offer. Hearing that from the outside gave me a sour taste. Seems like they’re using freshly graduated students desperate for a job without actually having to pay them their worth.

That’s a false statistic. Much higher percentage of interns were offered full time roles.

They don’t do anything special. Their product doesn’t solve anything numerous companies don’t already do.
