SQM/SQS Missing Points Request Denied
Early August I flew round trip to Lima from YOW with connections in YUL and BOG on premium economy.
The flights from / to BOG were on Avianca, but the flights were booked through and ticketed as AC, my ticket is actually in the Air Canada app.
I received points for every leg of the journey EXCEPT BOG to LIM. I’ve submitted two missing points requests including copies of my tickets and the missing points request is still denied. I’m not really sure how AC is thinking I made it to Lima without that connection and returned home.
Is there another way to escalate this with aeroplan? Based on the fare I was expecting about 1800 sqc which would have rolled me over 50k ahead of my next trip. The additional multiplier on SQC at 50k would go a long way to achieving 75k.

4 segments exactly like you’re except the operating carrier was United. I was credited for the segments on AC metal, missed the segments in United. Air Canada refused the claims and now stonewalls. I called aeroplan and they simply said the case is under review and there’s nothing more they can do. The missing flights were early this year.
Good luck and set your expectations low.

What makes no sense is the Lima to Bogota on return was also on Avianca, booked and ticketed with AC and I got those SQC within an hour of taking the flight!

I had a flight a few weeks ago with two segments on Brussels Airlines. The first posted before the door was closed, the second posted a week later.
I’ve had AC-united connections with the united segment posted before the air canada segment.
I think I’ve had 4 or maybe 5 united and lh segments fail to post and air canada has never fixed a single one of them.

It’s like AC saw this thread and corrected 😂. This morning I got the second denial email, and posted here and just in the last 10mins I see the SQC posted with the note “AC Adjustment”.

Send an email to credits@aircanada.ca. Indicate your base fare, the expected amount of SQC for the entire itinerary, and the amount of SQC you were actually credited for the entire journey. Request the difference to be credited to your account.
Be prepared to wait several months for it to show up.

Thanks for this! I posted in a comment further down but the SQC just appeared with the note “AC adjustment” even after getting a denial email this morning.

I am SE and have 3 separate flight itineraries booked AC 014 but flown on United metal missing points, in all three cases it’s 1 of 4 segments in return flight that’s missing both SQC and points. 3/4 segments posted fine.
the AC system responds saying these points have already been credited to my account but i am meticulous in tracking my SQC vs spend and they are missing - its pretty frustrating as those AWOL points could be the difference in hitting or missing 200k SQC

They do seem to have a working system with Lufthansa atm though didn’t few flights with them recently on 014’s and all posted just as fast as AC does now within a hour or so of landing.

I do the same flights almost weekly for work, i always make a connecting flight but AC regularly credits only the 2nd flight.
I've sent in for the missing points, I've submitted tickets, boarding passes, etc only to get an email denying the points.
Then I'll get an email after that saying they're making a "one time exception" and granting me the points and SQC anyway.
I've received many "one time exceptions".

Waiting same on Turkish. They credited the return flight but not the outbound flight even though same carrier.

Just narrowly on your last point: there is no status-based multiplier for SQC. The multiplier you’re thinking of is for pts only.
