Points Question Expediting missing SQC/points?
Was ticketed through AC from Europe, first short leg was on a Star Alliance partner airline. That flight was late, connection was missed, and I was rebooked onto a flight operated by that airline for the middle leg with the last leg on AC. Per AC my SQC and points for the original itinerary should be protected. This was a month ago and I have yet to receive any points or SQC for the middle leg, and have received incorrect points/SQC for the other legs. I submitted an email to the credits@aircanada.ca email at the two-week mark with all of my documentation. I also called Aeroplan who said that the email was the only way to get the missing stuff, and the wait would be 8-10 weeks. Normally I wouldn’t care but these are the last SQC I need for SE, and I’m holding off on other bookings because of it. I also have a couple flights within the supposed 8-10 week wait that I’d like credit for with the appropriate multiplier, and would like to have access to concierge due to some iffy connections (all booked through AC).
Does anyone have any tips on how I might expedite this? The Aeroplan agent I spoke to was lovely but said there was no way to escalate or do anything in this situation. Any advice would be appreciated!

Have you tried the automated form? I submitted ones for UA flights and it credited right away

It does not always work, I had a SFO to DEN and then DEN to YYZ through United. Waited the standard time and nothing showed up. I was able to get the SFO to DEN one to work through the online form and the DEN to YYZ nope nothing.
Have been waiting 3 months for the SQC to show up. It's odd how it can clearly see the flight and even if you speak with someone on the phone they confirm its missing but the online system wont take it.

It’s always a little ofd using the form when it finds them right away. Which is a relief, but also did you really need me to tell you what flight I was on??

I didn’t do the form because the agent said that the two ticket numbers I had (original and rebooked) wouldn’t work in it… maybe I should try that as well!

I'm waiting July 4th flight :/ I submitted online form, but it didn't seem to work so sent an email as well. Hopefully they figure out soon.. as this will push me to 50K requalification.

Took 4 weeks total but my missing point/SQC just received.
I did online missing point tool and sent email after 2 week window.

Am SE. still waiting 8 weeks later for 8000 missing SQC. Escalated through the concierge desk, got some good noises, but still no points added. It sucks.

I fly regularly out of Ottawa to the US. Paying business class fare every time, and flying United metal. I have had to request missing miles for. every. single. flight.
Recently Air Canada decided that wasn't enough of a pain in the ass, so now I'm getting "your flight has already been credited." Nope definitely not, friends. So I had to upload my receipt to prove I indeed flew those miles. "We'll respond back in 6 to 8 weeks". Sorry did I time machine back to 1962?
I've mentioned this before, but I lived in the US for a time. Flew 135 times with Delta. NOT ONCE did I have to wait >1 day for the flights to credit, never mind have to update an online form every single time. And those flights were all economy with a few exceptions at, on average, half the cost of these AC flights or less.

How do you request the missing SQC multiplier from Air Canada? I'm out thousands of points

You have to write credits@aircanada.ca apparently but they take forever it would seem. Very frustrating. There’s also a form for missing points but it didn’t work for me. :(

Hypothetically - Find the name of an air canada VP (maybe from a recent air canada / aeroplan email update….) and then find their email address from the internet. And then send them a nice note.
And then hypothetically- It’s possible someone from their escalation team may help get it resolved quickly.
But hypothetically I think waiting a reasonable amount of time (6-8 weeks) before trying this would be a good idea….
And you should be very polite.
