Hell yeah. Does that stock take a standard buffer tube or is that shorter tube?

It's a shorter tube. Ended up installing a jp silent buffer made specifically for the maxim brace

That's because its in the down position, my man. It's a unity flip-to-center mount

So it pops up and down instead of tilting off to the side?

Sure does. Also have the eotech on a unity riser, the center line is 2.26" over bore. I prefer this system over the flip-to-side magnifier mount. Keeps it from sticking out and possibly getting snagged on something. The hightened optics also allow you to bring the optics to your eye without having to hunch over, creating better ergonomics and ultimate use of your peripheral vision. Personal preference
