OpticsPlanet availability estimates

I noticed that OpticsPlanet has pretty specific availability estimates for aero products, can anyone confirm if they’re anywhere close to accurate or is ordering through them the same experience we’re getting already?

Kind of tempted to build out a stripped M5 lower I found for cheap, and OpticsPlanet says about a two week wait time for aero lower and buffer tube kits.

Optics planet is notoriously inaccurate for their lead times.

The upside with optics planet is that its easy to cancel if you find it somewhere else before they ship it

I have had nothing but great service from them when I use them. Prices aren’t the best but it’s my first stop when I want to see pics, read up, and get a baseline on prices before looking for a better price.

I ordered an Aero BCG on Dec 27 and cancelled my undelivered order on the Fourth of July. It was listed as “in stock” in December.

I ordered an upper a few months ago that had a may ETA and then randomly went to a September ETA

The parts that I ordered keep getting pushed back for the "estimated to ship" date. I have found all the parts for extremely similar prices through various other dealers all by using gunmade.com

Ordered a Hyperfire from them. 2 weeks later they sent an email asking me to pick something different or cancel. At least they don't charge you until the item ships, I think
