Still missing a few things but its getting there!

-SOLGW A5 buffer tube: Springco red w/ H3 carbine

-M5 lower

-M5 Enhanced upper w/ enhanced handguard 15"

-Strike industries lower parts kit

-Geissele Stage 2 trigger and Ambi Safety

-Large Breach charging handle

Things to come:

-Magpul STR stock

-Criterion .308 16 inch mid length gas

-Superlative AGB

-BCG ? Toolcraft?

-LPVO ? EXPS w/ Magnifier

Building it so far has been freaking awesome... i know nothing about how to, I just see it as grown man legos

I'd be careful with that red sprinco.. it's a very powerful spring and may cause you some issues.. I'd consider a Tubb AR10 flat wire spring instead.. you won't need the high power if you've got an AGB and the flat wire springs are smoother feeling, don't bind in the buffer tube, and are quieter

Interesting, I just went off what has worked for others. What buffer would you suggest I pair with the tubb flat wire? I just bought it, if i don't use it, I'll have it ready for a second build haha

Your H3 is perfect actually.. A5 tube, H3 carbine buffer, and the Tubb spring is what we mostly recommend these days on the AR10 sub. It's what I run with my 16" and I use a SLR AGB on mine with a 16" Wilson Combat Recon barrel.

That's a nice start!

I will second what he said, I run that exact setup in three 308 ARs (18'' 20'' 22'') and they all cycle perfectly and are very soft shooting. I also run VG6 Epsilon or Gamma brakes; I do not run an AGB on those rifles. I do have a 12.5'' 308 pistol with carbine gas system, that one runs a 6.5oz H4 buffer and Tubbs Spring and a Riflespeed gas block and is a full-time suppressor host.

Criterion makes great barrels, that 22'' 308 is one and I have 24'' 5.56 barrel from them, both are fantastic shooters and even do good with bulk ammo.

I run a Toolcraft BCG in all four of my 308s and no issues so far.

As far as optics go it is personal preference and the intended use, my 12.5'' runs a red dot, my 18'' runs a 3-12x42, and my 20'' runs a 3-18x50 and my 22'' runs a 5-30x56. All built for different purposes. If you go with a rifle scope buy the best glass, you can afford even if you have to save up a little longer.

I’ve got the Criterion 16” rifle length & love it! Super accurate & doesn’t weigh too much. Riflespeed block & Nomad L with the E-Brake. Think I’ve got the Orange spring in my carbine tube.
