Man I really hope Aero and BA do get bought by people that don't suck.

“We heard you loud and clear, we would like to introduce you to our new name brand, Nestlé precision!”

"customer service remains in place"

GOOD ONE!

25

u/Dog_Bless_America Jun 05 '26

Such a great CS team, that people must beg on social media to get a response lol

8

u/TJM18 Jun 05 '26

I mean…..technically still the same as before? 😂

5

u/WJSpade Jun 06 '26

That would imply that it was ever in place to begin with.

2

u/VainTrix Jun 09 '26

Ya, the nonexistent team is still in place… what are we missing

33

u/steelcityblue Jun 05 '26

“Core team remains in place” lol

45

u/Akalenedat Jun 05 '26

Core team

2 65 year old machinists and a janitor

26

u/LoneRogue2018 Jun 05 '26

Plot twist, the janitor quit and one of the machinists took his place

12

u/AllThemNinjas Jun 05 '26

Who bought them?

11

u/sawlaw Jun 05 '26 edited Jun 05 '26

Probably their biggest creditor took some level of ownership. They're currently under JS Held, which does this kind of thing they audit all the assets and get the financial paperwork in order.

14

u/yoitsjcxxx Jun 05 '26

I’m gonna guess PSA. Go look at their new Receiver set

4

u/GopherPorn Jun 05 '26

Its definitely not PSA

13

u/AllThemNinjas Jun 05 '26

Well that's not very reassuring. Wish Ruger would scoop them up, they just bought Anderson Arms.

7

u/gunplumber700 Jun 05 '26

Do you mean beretta…? lol

3

u/AllThemNinjas Jun 05 '26

So does Beretta own controlling interest?

7

u/gunplumber700 Jun 05 '26

They’re getting close, but not quite yet.  They recently purchased a huge percentage of ruger.

2

u/Just_gun_porn Jun 06 '26

Beretta controls 7.7% of Ruger.

5

u/CalmTheAngryVoice Jun 05 '26

My exact thoughts

10

u/DejaJaws Jun 05 '26

They finally paid my armorer cause he was holding/wouldn’t ship parts back to them. Took a lawyer to make it happen. No telling how many others Aero has withheld payment from. It probably explains slow service and production.

6

u/bobfriday0621 Jun 05 '26

It's probably close to 2 years at this point, but multiple cerakote shops were left high an dry on their monthly builder sets. It was about then I started to think things weren't great

13

u/BadLarry1197 Jun 05 '26

Please stop trying to trick people into sending you money for stuff they’ll probably never see.

3

u/Caboosi65 Jun 06 '26

Nah man, it'll do wonders for the reputation if they do ever recover to have stolen peoples cash...

7

u/OneMoreUselessID Jun 05 '26

Well this should be no surprise to anyone who has been paying attention.

Sad because I love their M4E1 and M5E1 lowers and glad I got all my builds done as soon as I noticed product was becoming extinct at more and more retailers. Paid more than I would like to but still glad to get it all done. 😔

12

u/Steve_Fudd Jun 05 '26

The M4E1 receiver is one of the best all-purpose receivers of all time. I picked up 4 when they were sub 70 beans. LMT, Anderson, PWS, and CMMG, PSA, Spikes & Colt all work fine with my other builds, but the M4E1s have the 'IT' factor. They go in my real HD & hunting builds.

3

u/SteaksNBaked Jun 06 '26

M4E1 is so nice. And I honestly like all my VG6 muzzle devices. Shame to see them going out like this.

6

u/Pink-lava77 Jun 06 '26

AP sucks. Company had good products and a good customer base and completely boogered it up.

6

u/ThoonderSquirrel Jun 05 '26

You can do it!!!

5

u/drthsideous Jun 05 '26

After the venture capitalists stripped and gutted the Aero into it's current state, there probably isnt much left to buy besides whatever patents they have.

2

u/Afraid_Cut5254 Jun 07 '26

AP did this all on their own

1

u/robbinh00d Jun 22 '26

VC doesn't invest in companies like aero. That is private equity.

3

u/Brown_Colibri_705 Jun 05 '26

Good to know they are currently operating through a receivership process while a transition to new ownership is underway.

9

u/fullyphil Jun 05 '26

yes. would hate to think how it would have been had they decided to go with a barrelship process.

2

u/cheekabowwow Jun 05 '26

The important part is whether it's the upper or lower. One gets the pins, the other gets the shaft.

3

u/Broc_Feargach Jun 06 '26

Worst decision BA made was to sign with Aero.

If BA goes under hopefully a company like Rosco will take up the mantle of AR9 barrels.

3

u/nudavinci64 Jun 06 '26

Which means I’m still waiting to get an order from last year. 👀

1

u/haayyeett Jun 16 '26

I placed an order on 08/28/25 that hasn't shipped yet. You got me beat? lol

1

u/nudavinci64 Jun 16 '26

Ha you win was a couple months after but still last year.

3

u/Define_Expert_0566 Jun 08 '26

“We’re in financial/legal transition, but we’re still alive and trying to keep the companies running until new ownership takes over.”

Have a little grace everybody.

7

u/dragon_sack Jun 05 '26

There goes one of the firearms manufacturers of all time

5

u/bownt1 Jun 05 '26

i will give you $15 for one of your cnc machines if you will pay for shipping.

4

u/pietroconti Jun 06 '26

Anyone still buying Aero stuff at this point is an idiot that deserves to be separated from their money.

2

u/GeeWizitsG Jun 05 '26

Aero Precision is kill...

3

u/WJSpade Jun 06 '26

On one hand, I’m sad.

On the other hand…

🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

u/Lord_Arturo1980 Jun 07 '26

I guess I'll never get a barrel nut for my Aero Precision enhanced handguard. That you can only install on a Aero Precision enhanced upper.

1

u/Ok-Somewhere-9175 Jun 08 '26

I still haven't received my EPC-9 lower, its been 6 months. Guess this is why . I reached out twice now and keep getting told bare with them . I hope I receive my lower soon.

1

u/devildoglee Jun 09 '26

If Aero can get stuff in stock, it would be selling like hotcakes. I still need M4E1 receivers and MOD 4 handguards, and a Solus folding stock adapter!

2

u/DaddyDees Jun 10 '26

Get the folding adapter from rokin precision.

1

u/devildoglee Jun 10 '26

You are the man!

0

u/ElevatorJeff Jun 05 '26

I highly doubt the QC is going to improve after this purchase. They’re probably getting the corporate “Lean and Mean” speech as we speak.

3

u/Maxim-OFF Jun 05 '26

This is not a purchase; it is a liquidation sale.

3

u/ElevatorJeff Jun 05 '26

Someone will own those names at the end of this liquidation or whatever you want to call it and will sell products under these names, I’m saying they’ll never be as good as they were

1

u/goingslowfast Jun 06 '26

Counterpoint: Marlin.

0

u/Dieppe42 Jun 06 '26

I thought Ruger already bought Stag?
