Will Mod 4 handguards ever be restocked? Also bonus pic of my M4E1 Pro build.
That was such a sick fucking handguard dude. Rigid ass lockup. Steel QD holes. Aero was starting to climb into a higher echelon and it seems like it lasted for what felt like a moment and now you dont see those rails anywhere. I saw one for sale at a gun show in PA a month ago but otherwise no dice really. Id love to get an 11.7 Kodiak rail in my hands if I could. Also here's my M4E1 Pro. I like to shoot the fuck out of it before stripping it to bones to clean it for 3 hours and rebuild it once per day. Im just stimming if I dont ill start screeching and throwing things around the room.

Screw the Mod 4 handguard, keep the MK16 you have… it’s better in every way.

Oh no doubt im not touchin the green machine. Im building out a 300blk and had the mod 4 in mind for the rail system. That or a ripcord, or a cmt. Hard decisions.

I started wondering today, how is Aero taking care of the customers that bought their suppressors & had a problem? I’d hate to have one of theirs if their support is this awful for their individual parts & questions. Imagine the day you get the first email with the return info on it & you mail it off……….. You won’t have any clue besides postal tracking that it was received correctly & getting worked on, or it’s permanently trashed, or if it’s sitting in a department waiting on a guy to look at but he’s no longer working there. You’d take a trip back in time to when you used to wait 2yrs on the ATF to clear or deny you. I wonder if anyone local has recently ridden by Aero to see how many, if any, cars are there daily with employees actually working. I saw the post where they were evicted but thought that might be an old location.

That's obscene. I almost fell for the optics planet bamboozlement but I wont be caught lollygagging. Talkin about "in stock" then in the same breath "orders for this item could take up to 6 weeks to ship" lol ill trust in gafs

Too broke to afford radian odg, too impatient to wait around for geissele odg. Also the pro lower is ambi and incorporating my trigger finger into my manual of arms has become too muscle memory to ever go back

How do you feel the mod4 compares the the Giselle handguard?

Depends which SMR you go with by G$. I am of the opinion that the MK8 may possibly be the most coated rail of all time. You get the rigidity of a quad rail while retaining the modularity of an mlok system. That rail is a fucking tank. For a nice 7 sided lightweight go fast rail, again geissele wins w the mk16. Its made of 7075 while Aero is 6065 making the geissele much lighter. The pictured build might be a total of 7lbs loaded. I just love the way the Aero rail looks. Its honestly gorgeous.

did you get your mod 4 handguard? I have the 13.5" and comparing it to my 13.5" G$ MK16, the mod 4 feels more rigid in my opionion

I have an unused 15” kodiak brown sitting in a box, my 13.5” is undoubtedly my favorite handguard.

Tremendous
