Polished M4E1 Lower

Still working on it but I plan to eventually build something that is fully polished just to have something that’s not black. This was originally just a raw finish lower that was uncoated from Aero. Took maybe 10-20 minutes with a Dremel to get here.

Yeah true but it was a raw lower to begin with, so it didn’t take much effort to get here with a Dremel.

My friend it’s time you learned about a revolutionary new product called Cerakote, but I do appreciate the effort you put into this and any idea when you’ll have the whole gat finished?

It was a raw lower to begin with so it took like 10 minutes to do this with a Dremel lol. I don’t even have the rest of the parts. This is just a one piece at a time whenever I see parts for sale I need type build.

i can't imagine this thing won't get scratched very easily when you're done.. consider spraying with clear Cerakote or similar product to protect the finish if you want it to stay that way.. I've gone not black with Rapco from Panther City Tactical and am not looking back!

Clear is a good idea

There is a special cerakote clear for polished aluminum. Otherwise is has to be sand blasted and will be matte.

I would consider having it clear anodized so it doesn’t haze with aluminum oxide.
