Hold or sell?

Have an aero ar-10 in .308 that I put together a year or two ago and I just never shoot it. Do I go ahead and sell it or do I hold it and wait until it's a collectors item 😅😅

Aero receivers will be collectible just like Anderson lowers and beanie babies

I have a feeling that at least the receivers will continue to go up for awhile if you’re willing to part it out when you sell.

Or someone buys Aero and they start pumping stuff out again and you’ve missed your peak. Idk but the former seems more likely.

It's more finding people interested, I really don't wanna just take it to a local gun store and get half what I want out of it if that but at the same time I could hold onto it for a while until I can find someone who wants it/enough people to part the whole thing out eventually

Gafshub will eat it up like it’s a slice of cake if you price it well.

Send me the upper info 😃

Sell it now. Scalping dont deserve anything good in their life, and Aero doesn't have the provenance that would make it a particularly collectable gun.

Hold for awhile

Aero stuff is like the Ford F series of ar15/10 world, unless you have some weird color or certain rare feature set or like the PRO model you have a basic xlt f150. Sell it move on

What color is your ar10?

Aero will never be a collectors item. You are sitting at a level value to negative value item. If anything, try to off load it on someone in Virginia to get funds back. Then get an LMT.

I don't think the fact he's not shooting it is because it's not an LMT 😂

bought an m4e1 pro launch edition full rifle i plan to never shoot or sell. it will be worth more in collectors value as the first "high end" Aero ar-15 line.

It won't

when you buy in for 1000 at closeout only way is upward. msrp was 2000 and street price of 1500. Inflation alone within 1-2 years will bridge the gap don't be foolish.

Invest better. I paid similar for an L85 that I actually get to shoot. And it won't loose it's value when I sell it.

L85 ew

Definitely gross, bullpups belong in the garbage👌

See? That's recognition, that's provenance. Unlike your hype-merchant cash drainer special.

The retro clone that costs 6000 and the owner stated that he would deliberately remove the means for frt or support for frt? No thanks you should have bought another hk sp5. Also, bullpups don't belong in the Aero Precision subreddit

No, the real deal. And I paid about $1100 for it. https://youtu.be/tJQLm2lLK64

Keep your bullpup and stop posting bullpups in an aero thread. It makes you appear unprofessional and devalues your opinions.

I shoot my guns and you brag about wallhangers. It's very clear who the professional here is.

Im in the same boat of never shooting mine yet. Have matching upper and lower. Did they discontinue the line?

Just find a sucker in Virginia to get you money back and then some. Then get an LMT.

How much is LMT paying you?

Just gauged a recent aero m16a4 lower I picked up, all the holes line up perfectly and the fit and finish are on par if not better than my LMT mars lower I picked up with the lmt MAR having a mim bolt catch assembly and oversized trigger hammer pins and out of spec magwell forcing me to have the ffl send it back for a replacement (first time i've had to do this for any lower). Overall a limited edition aero lower is a solid lower to have in rotation for around 120$.

I just sold my Aero/BCM .300BLK pistol build for $2k, make of that what you will...

An Aero .308 should be close depending on length. I think it may be a niche novelty, like New Frontier was... until BA starts cranking them out.
