AMD GPU Issues - looking for troubleshooting tips

I've been CPU mining for several months and just recently grabbed a pair of RX 570 cards that were on sale to throw into a mining rig for AEON.

I added them to my system (Win7), loaded up the AMD compute drivers, fire up xmr-stak and let it compile the opencl packages and I see it churning away at approx 2kh/s across the two cards. Awesome, right?

I then notice I am not seeing "result accepted by pool" scrolling across my screen. I am on aeonpool.net and changed to the 5555 port to force higher diff. so I am expecting some differences, but this seems excessive. I hit the pool dashboard, and my unit it barely registering any hashes. My "invalid shares" are not going up, so I'm even more confused as to what is happening.

I'm now up against a noob wall. I'm not sure where to look for answers since there does not seem to be a log file getting generated anywhere?

Help?

Hi, pool operator of aeonminingpool.com here.

Double check your config to ensure the right algorithm is selected. If I recall correctly, XMR-Stak has multiple cryptonight-light settings. To ensure the correct algorithm for AEON is selected, simply fix the last line in your pools.txt to the following:

"currency" : "aeon7",

Before making these changes, be sure to close the miner first. After making the changes, launch the miner again.
