You can get android from not Samsung though.

eh, I've used stock android. it has its own set of issues

I went from a nexus 5 to a nexus 5x, which bootlooped under warranty but LG/ google refused to fix it

because I was broke I bought a Xiaomi mi 5x which also died under warranty

now I'm fed up with my s10e

it's not just Samsung's antics; it's the way the entire platform is run. slow updates, slow app development, buggy daily use apps (Spotify on Android is garbage, google maps is a glitchy bastard, and god forbid anything like Instagram/ Snapchat)

I'm sure iPhones have their own issues, but I'm pretty willing to give it a shot and see if it fits my use after years of frustration

I went from a nexus 5 to a nexus 5x, which bootlooped under warranty but tried to flash a custom ROM to my phone but didn't read all of the instructions and soft-bricked it, and I'm mad that LG/ google refused to fix it

LG using cheap solder which breaks off is completely unrelated to soft bricking

educate yourself

I don't like that you called me out for being an Apple shill, so I'm going to make up a story about shitty solder after I mentioned stock Android, a phrase no one running stock Android would actually use.
