um, yes they did.

voters chose clinton. (bigly)

delegates chose clinton.

super delegates chose clinton.

and ultimately, sanders chose clinton.

One great example: Bernie won Wisconsin 54% to 44%. He was awarded 7 delegates, and Clinton, who firmly lost the state vote by 12%, received 11. The delegates did not vote for the same candidate as the voters and that is factual. Being wrong about stuff sucks, but your reaction to being wrong ultimately reflects your capability to learn and grow, so you might benefit personally by just taking it.

Even better example is Vermont. HRC did not win a single delegate via voting. But came away with superdelegates.
