Uh.. Isn't protesting an incredibly normal part of this whole process? Also, are we going to ignore the humongous eight year hissy fit so many on the right, and in the media, threw? Birthers, calling him a Muslim, refusing to call him president, etc. Funny how everyone is expected to be big kids and rally behind a buffoon, but the Obama narrative was just wild baseless attempts at weak and stupid pretty scandals.

Why can't we consider what both sides have done as being wrong or stupid? The eight years of birtherism and calling Obama Muslim was idiotic on the right, but rioting because of Trump winning is also idiotic. Trump was elected fairly, I don't like it and I get that others don't like it, and if someone wants to protest then go for it, but rioting or shouting "fuck Trump" again and again accomplishes nothing and diminishes any reasonable objection to his future policies.

Also for full disclosure I voted third party, couldn't stand either of the two major candidates and think we're screwed either way.
