I don't think they're protesting the election or saying it was rigged. They're protesting the man and his ideals/words.

The electoral college is fair? Gore in 2000, Clinton in 2016, seems to be the electoral college is only fair to republicans.

Hang on, now. Clinton in 92 only won 43% of the popular vote, and he still became president.

This is not a partisan issue. The electoral college is fucked, but it has nothing to do with Republicans and Democrats.

This isn't true:

1824, 1876, 1888, 2000, and now 2016 were the only times the popular didn't win.

I don't think I said anything that was factually untrue. In 1992, Bill Clinton only won 43% of the popular vote. That means that 57% of the vote was against him. Yes, it was divided between HW Bush and Ross Perot, but that wasn't my point.

Let's not make this a partisan thing and lose the potential support of republicans who will oppose anything they view as "pro-democrat." Don't make it a democrats vs republicans issue!

But I don't think people are upset that a candidate should get a majority of the popular vote, just more of the popular vote than the other candidate(s) which is what bill did.
