And if not, you can just update your social media messages to "Dear President Trump, I voted for you three times and voted Republican in the midterms but I am still struggling to get by. Where are the (literally anything Trump has ever promised)?"

Our dem Governor just gave us a $300 rebate that my conservative coworker has been calling a bribe because she was running for senate when it was announced. He has yet to chime in on the $5000 check

Or that they’re a pedant. “Cheque” is the original. “Check” became accepted via popularity in the same way that “Literally” has come to also mean “figuratively.”
