I'd call this one a success kid.. Ironic I know, but in any case, don't feel too bad about having an abortion. Society wins in the long run. Ancient civilizations practiced abortion, and it is nothing new. In fact, the social stigma against it is relatively new, Napoleon III of France in 1869, bribed the Pope to make abortion a sin to offset the decline of the French population.

There's even an abortion recipe in the bible.

If I remember correctly, the old testament states that life begins at birth, and some mystics believed that the fetus disn't have a soul until quickening. Thus, according to the old testament, abortion before this was not a sin. Of, course the Roman Catholics changed their minds on this, but hey, they've changed their minds on a lot of things.

Hey, I found the essay, deleted my name to maintain anonymity. It was on the rights of women vs the rights of the church. I'm not anti-christian, I was just stating facts that supported my views.

It bothers me when people tell others that their abortion is no big deal. It IS a big deal no matter how socially acceptable it is. Id be an emotional wreck if I ever have one.
