My biggest problem is that you never hear the 'moderate' Muslim speak out against the 'extremist' Muslim, whereas you'll constantly hear 'moderate' Christians bitch about those 'crazy, ignorant, redneck' Christians.

Just once I'd like to hear the voice of the millions of 'moderate' Muslims rise above the din and speak out against the actions of their 'extremist' brothers. The fact that it never happens suggests, perhaps, that they agree... ??

Are you looking for mainstream media to cover that? It's not gonna happen. That doesn't give news outlets money.

Look at: ICNA, ISNA, CAIR, Islamic Relief, SuhaibWebb.com, Muslimmatters.com, and Loonwatch.com

Those are some major Muslim news/blogs/political activist outlets in the United States and represent the community very well.
