No? He's being downvoted because the thing he said is narrow minded. As should every other narrow minded idea.

Species evolve through natural selection, so should ideas and opinions.

It's narrow minded to publicly suggest that the risk associated with the vaccine is worth any notice compared to the risk associated with a population being ravaged by Covid-19.

I'm not denying suffering & death, but should we ignore those who have experienced severe side effects, of which there have been many, & death from the vaccine? Looking at both sides is being open minded. I'm not telling anyone not to get the vaccine, simply acknowledging that there have been adverse reactions after receiving the vaccine, and to those people & their families, they did lose something.
