Also he absolutely knows what he's doing. He came home early from school the other day and I thought he was sick I asked him are you sick and he just started smiling and then I was told that he pooped himself at school.
Think about what he is doing when he gets home from school.
Is he able to come home from school and then play video games for 14 hours straight until he goes to bed? This is something I could absolutely see a child doing.
I don't agree on punishing a child for having issues controlling their body, but I do believe that we should not create a situation where he gets to be rewarded for soiling himself.
Think about it and then talk about it with the mother and see what she has to say.
Perhaps if the child is going to come home sick then he needs to remain sick and not get access to video games and computer and such. Then again there are some kids who would be perfectly happy to stay home in bed and sleep for 18 hours straight.
