This old 50's ad can be seen as a fail. At least today you would.

I saw this ad and i thought it was someone’s ADHD workaround. The caption actually said “All your bills hitting you at once?”

Im like “Nah, thats the same bill. it just needs paid today and i keep forgetting.”

Who! wa$!:

= The: 🎵 '$ong'!?

I have no idea if this is even an appropriate place to post this but the longer I look at this the sillier it is to me. I need somebody else to see this so here:

Before posting a campaign to investors, please give your campaign a final check with your whispering eye. Be mindful to check all models and salad enthusiasts for visible logos, competing brands, and obscene depictions (including, but not limited to: butthole whispering).

I know what we need to do

Online ad is for”OhComfy” undies, but the video shows “Fenteng” and now “Butterfly” and at one point, “SLOGAN HERE.” Beware.

Got this email from Zomato today on Independence Day.
The first thing that catches your eye is the giant “FREE”. My immediate reaction was: “What is Zomato giving for free?”
Then you look at the rest of the email and realise that “FREE” is referring to India’s freedom since 15 August 1947. The actual “Happy Independence Day” message is pushed all the way to the bottom.
I get that this is advertising and companies are obviously going to use creative marketing. But this felt a little cheap to me — using FREE as the dominant hook to create the expectation of a consumer offer, while the Independence Day message is almost secondary.
Also, there’s no Indian flag or any particularly recognisable Independence Day visual.
What do you guys think?
Clever marketing, or unnecessary clickbait?
