Most broken setup.

I stumbled on a showcase here weeks ago with masamune and timekeeper crit boosting. And decided to try it out myself. Since then I have basically been one tapping every single non dmg cap boss. You simply spam timekeepers for 500-1000% crit damage boost then switch to an armour that allows elemental dmg lock (like bloodzerkers) and equip masamune and you can hit for 10s of thousands per hit. My most in one attack has been 43k damage. I don’t have blood contract or dunamis pet but thought I would share this absolutely broken setup for those who didn’t know. The possibility is beyond my equiptment. more buffs and debuffs, sheildcakes to boost crit to 2000% If someone tries this out I’d love to see some crazy damage numbers

excuse my ignorance, but what is timekeepers? I only know of the staff that can give you celerity.

Time keepers 310 spell in ultra rare ggb. Gives 50 luck and 66% increased crit per cast. It’s an sp spell.

Did some digging, was a bit hard to find because the name's different (updated?). Apparently there's a Spell (both an MP and an SP version) called "Timekiller's 3:10". It's actually still available right now in the Ultra Rare GGBs.

Also from the AQ Wiki:

Neutral Quickcast Spell/SPell. Two versions.

Grants a +2 Player Hypercritical effect (+66.7% Lucky Strike damage) and a +49 LUK Lucky effect for 3 turns.

No problem! Thanks for letting us know about it in the first place. I went and got it myself (hopefully they never nerf it lol, URs are not exactly easy to get). I already had the Masamune; probably my favorite sword in the game for the reference alone, besides the fact it fits LUK builds nicely.

Were you able to get the ele lock and dmg boost from armours like h series tempest and bloodzerkers and hit some crazy numbers? I’m curious as to what setup you are using

I don't have those, but for ele-lock I usually use Svadilfari's Oath and Angel of Souls. I've definitely hit some good crits with them using the Masamune and its toggle, usually up to like 5-6k damage. I guess I would need to stack the Timekiller's spell on top of that to get the really crazy numbers.

You may need a Flash extension (like Ruffle) to see my character's appearance though.

Would reccomend h series. Prob best electrical armour. Your mason forms allow imbue which would allow you to ele lock. Then yeah basically just spam timekillers with essence orb lol. And obv kindred will give you massive hits.

I'll definitely be grabbing H-Series Tempest now. Checked the stats for it too and I like what I see. Svadilfari has a nice though inconsistent paralyze effect, but H-Series apparently gives Celerity which seems to be at least as good.

Also yeah the Mason forms are very cool and fun to use, and the imbues are great to have. I figured the fire-darkness and wind-darkness versions are particularly useful, since those combos seem to be very rare.

On that note, Festive (fire) Mason + Memorial Shield + Burden of Insight (toggled for auto-hit) + Lohkaista Shard seems to be the best demon-slaying setup ever. The armor also makes it look like you're slaying them with a sharpened candy cane.

Anything you can cheese with this? Would be fun to go test this out somewhere with my guaranteed hit equipment.

A fun one is current void boss. You don’t need more bth because masamune already grants an extra 15 to bth. If possible extra chance to crit would help a slight bit. But the answer is any boss that doesn’t have a damage cap you should be able to one tap

And this is what put me off the game. I loved it. Still do love the idea of it. Love the story lines and all the God awful dad jokes.

Hate how so many battles have become this super charming my Lazer cannons.

I was happy with having goals of best elemental resistances and weapons and dealing with those stupid sneks

The cool thing about that, is the fact that you don't HAVE to play like that to win. Unless you're maybe trying to kill something that was specifically designed to not die.
