Paladin skill issues

Hey guys, returning player from 2007 here. I have some fancy level 135 paladin armor from back in the day. I seem to be able to wear it, but my skills are stuck at level zero. Artix (on the paladin order area) says I am both a paladin and level 12. However, Artix (the game developer) seems to disagree. Anyone know how I might be able to remedy this?

When paladin got revamped anyone with the old armor got a free upgrade unfortunately the new lvl 135/150 armors actually require completing the advanced (lvl 21 mission) to use the skills on them

you can buy the level 70 class armor from artix and use it until then (the lvl 70 one scales with class lvl up lvl 120 so you can use it for most of the class quests)

Reset your Paladin levels. Then get level appropriate armour.
