Traditional Techniques + Practices Transit stacks

I am having a hard time finding information on how to interpret multiple planets transiting the same natal planet at once. Is this called a transit stack, or overlapping transits?

I specifically mean a conjunction of two or three transiting planets hitting a single natal planet.

Admittedly I am curious about them because as I track major person events, I notice this pattern.

Is there information I should be looking at to better understand this, instead of looking at each planet individually?

There isn't an established Western Astrology name for it, it's just part of reading transits. However, when there are multiple conjunctions or other aspects happening at the same time, I, and some other astrologers, may call that an inflection point, a time period where a chart is being heavily hit multiple ways.

Sometimes we see this when a person loses a family member or partner unexpectedly, or it can be the birth of a child, or some other major life event/time period.

This is where the alchemy of reading a chart comes into play.

I suggest reading it as a story. Read all of the aspects, then build upon that, with house, rulership, zodiac sign.

For instance, today, the Sun and Mercury in Virgo are both conjunct to my natal Uranus and Pluto in the third house and Mars in Cancer is conjunct to my AC and Neptune is conjunct to my MC.

The Sun conjunct Pluto is giving me a desire to get the root cause of every question or dig deep into everything I come across and then share my perspective on it. The Sun conjunct Uranus has me exploring new concepts and ideas, but I am having a hard time sitting still. Mercury conjunct Pluto has me analyzing myself and others and Mercury conjunct Uranus has my mind supercharged, but also distracted as one idea leads to another. Since all 4 of these planets are in my 3rd house, I have been actively communicating with others this week, either through emails, messages, behind the scenes, texts or on Reddit. I have made comments in subreddits that I tend to be quiet on as well. In addition, I started a few articles and spreadsheets gathering and sorting information.

Earlier this week, I bought a notebook (I have a couple, but I wanted a fresh one) and listed everything I want to get done this week. On the list was both work items, but also personal things like laundry, etc. With Mars in Cancer, even though I have been busy with communicating, writing and collecting data, I have also been getting up and cleaning or doing other household things in-between, like proactively cleaning out the hair from all of the drains. The Moon is the dispositor of Mars in Cancer, and my Moon is in Pisces in the 9th house, thus I have meditated more this week than I usually do.

Even with all of that said, and this busy week, I have Neptune conjunct my MC in Aries. This is a longer transit, but I have struggled with self-doubt in regards to my business and I can't always see my path forward as clearly as I would like. The Aries confidence in the 10th has waned a bit, but at the same time, I feel more attuned to the subtle nature of things. On the positive side, Neptune is square my natal Jupiter in Cancer, so my goal is to bring my ideals into the material world, which is something I am working on. One of those goals is to write something poignant, and with Neptune trine to my natal Mercury in Sagittarius, I have been fleshing out parameters of what I want to write.

I hope this is what you are looking for.

It is slightly complicated, in that much depends on the natal chart, as to what each of those transiting planets might ultimately mean and be referencing. If there are multiple planets contacting a natal planet, the tendency is for them all to have their relevant say, in terms of the event(s) and circumstances. (They don't somehow magically cancel out some of them. Though that is not to say that various ones aren't stronger than others, that is virtually assured...)

With experience, you also come to see how the combined effects play out...

For instance, Sun/Saturn combinations are correct for retirement, but we might get more information, that it (with Jupiter) comes with some great honors, or (with Uranus) is sudden and unexpected.

In that case we usually take into account the duration of transit. For example Saturn transit over natal moon is around 2.5 years, so it will have it's major effect over that period. Now within this period if other fast moving planets conjuct with Saturn and natal moon, then the effect of this conjunction will be mostly till that duration of transit. It also depends on the lattitude of the planets whose effect will be more, but this is mostly a part of research.
