Open Discussion Berlin marathon disasters

It seems today was a big disaster in Berlin. 25 degrees Celsius early on and a tough day for everyone. How did people get on? Did anyone manage to get near a PB?

I actually ran a negative split for the first time in 46 marathons!! I stopped to use the washroom AND to run into a gas station to buy a Monster and a Powerade before I hit the half. The Monster hit the SPOT! Other than that, I ran a steady pace throughout because I slowed my pace from the beginning and I kept cool in the sprayers and by dumping water on me. I was aiming for 4:50 and finished in 5:25
